During the last four decades WSSS have been promoting various renewable Energy technologies which are cost efficient and meet the energy needs of the rural people. WSSS has been pioneers in adopting ferro-cement technology, which is an innovative and cost-efficient technology adopted in the construction of Biogas plants and construction of tanks for vermin compost, well recharge, pipe compost and rain water harvest. 30% of cost reduction in construction makes this widely accepted among rural communities.
